Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines recently welcomed two new ships into their fleet. Never sailing with more than 1,400 guests on board, they are wonderfully spacious with wide-open decks, lots of lovely restaurants and lounge spaces, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Their smaller ships carry fewer passengers, so their crew can get to know each of their guests.

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, they believe a cruise is different to a holiday. A cruise is about the joy of the journey, as well as the destinations you visit, and exploring the world from the wonderful vantage point of the ship and the sea.
They plan their cruises differently. Their team of Journey Planners change the itineraries every year – unlike some other cruise lines who always sail the same routes. They also put as much time into planning scenic cruising on every sailing as they do in choosing the destinations themselves. As a result, they have won Cruise Critic’s award for best itineraries 5 years in a row.
Their smaller-sized ships have been elegantly designed and they all look and feel like ships with wide open deck spaces as well as lounges and restaurants which have been meticulously planned to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The smaller size of their ships also allows them access to more interesting places, such as Norway’s lesser known Fjords. It also means they can dock in the heart of some of the world’s most fascinating cities.

Simply book more than 12 weeks ahead on this cruise and if, once on board, you let the Guest Relations team know within two days of your cruise departing, that it is not right for you, Fred. Olsen will arrange for a flight back to your original UK cruise starting point (or nearest available), from the next available port of call and refund in full your cruise fare.
*The Olsen Way Promise excludes Party Nights and cruises for 4 or less nights. The promise only applies to Bookings made for departures more than 12 weeks ahead. The Olsen Way Promise only applies to Passengers who have contracted with FOCL and excludes cruises on vessels operated by FOCL but booked through third Party operators. Should you wish to invoke the Olsen Way Promise, you will need to inform Guest Relations within 48 hours of the Vessel’s departure from the original port of embarkation at the latest. FOCL will arrange and pay for a flight and/or transport back to the UK. FOCL will refund the cruise cost only but will not refund other costs. The Olsen promise doesn’t’ apply to world cruises.
